Where it began
I grew up in Ajman, in a normal family. My father worked relentlessly to keep food on the table and me in school. Money was tight — two or three dirhams a day for the bakala on the corner. It taught me the value of every dirham and the size of the climb ahead.

Dubai opened its first freehold homes to families like ours, and my father bought a townhouse on one of those early interest-free plans. Watching one decision change a family’s life is why I still do real estate on the side.

Eighteen, behind a bar
My first real job was bartending at eighteen — some of the hardest months of my life. It taught me to read people, work a long night, and keep going when nothing about it is glamorous.
